Amadeus Festival Vienna

The Amadeus Festival Vienna poster was designed to embrace and celebrate women in our society. The illustration was based on a photograph that I took of a friend, proud of her culture, and with the scarf made and passed down by her Greek grandmother, who has made the scarf out of a hobby rather than as a chore — and she would call this a 'labour of love'. The elegance shown as she wore this scarf inspired me to relate this to the Amadeus Festival, with their display of classical music that gracefully shows women, artists, and musicians passionately showcasing their talents. Subtle foliage texture incorporated in the background to show the Amadeus Festival's commitment to the environment.
